Accuracy in Academia Launches Online Conservative University

First course offered will be “Sex, Lies & Women’s Studies”

Accuracy in Academia (AIA) is launching Conservative University – a free online video education initiative, at the Network of enlightened Women’s national conference on Friday, June 20, 2014 in Washington, DC.  “Sex, Lies & Women’s Studies,” Conservative University’s first course, takes on the so-called “War on Women,” liberal feminism, and exposes misinformation taught in women’s studies programs on college campuses across the country.  Conservative University will offer additional courses promoting conservative principles that will be released on a rolling schedule.

“Sex, Lies &Women’s Studies,” an alternative resource for female college students, documents the proud tradition, views and heroism of conservative feminists.  Its topics range from feminism, pay equality, healthcare freedom, the so-called “War on Women,” history of women’s studies and lack of intellectual diversity on campus, and how to get involved in politics.

Conservative University consists of six classes that each run approximately ten minutes in length, and feature six dynamic female instructors:

Karin Agness - President, Network of enlightened Women (NeW)
Mona Charen - Author & Syndicated Columnist
Diana Furchtgott-Roth - Director of economics21 & Senior Fellow, Manhattan Institute
Hadley Heath - Director of Health Policy, Independent Women’s Forum (IWF)
Kate Obenshain - Author & Political Commentator
Star Parker - President, Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE)

“We’ve been covering women’s studies for decades.  AIA decided it was about time to tell the other side of this story,” said Malcolm Kline, Executive Director of Accuracy in Academia.  “We’re proud of our faculty of successful female leaders and scholars who participated in order to correct the historical record about feminism and current women’s studies programs.”

The course will be offered for free at, starting Friday, June 20, 2014.  The individual classes will be released on a rolling weekly basis for the next six weeks.  In addition to AIA, the “Sex, Lies & Women’s Studies” course is also being sponsored by the Independent Women’s Forum and Network of enlightened Women.
